EDUCATION OUTREACH

 

​Triple L! Social Development programs and our outreach services are:

 

1. Feed the Needy - Provide food and clothes to homeless individuals, low-income families and single mothers.

2. Teach Me Tutoring Services - Help students with their homework to improve their grades.

3. Reach 1 Teach 1 - Motivate individuals to not feed into negativity and focus on a positive future through accomplishing goals in order to have a successful life.

4. Reach 1 Teach 1 Counseling Services - Work with troubled kids who are and/or suspended from school. Also with at-risk youth. The goal is to rekindle commitment to learning.

5. Teen Parent Services - Instruction classes for pregnant teens and parenting seminars.

6. Work-A-Holic - Employment Services. Job placement and job readiness training.

7. Investment Programs: Small business start up programs.

 

OBJECTIVE

Teach the youth that there is more to life then street violence aka street politics. To drop the “I DON’T CARE” attitude. Teach the youth that violence and drugs is not the answer to their problems. Don’t pattern their life style after what they see on TV, hear on the radio and view onsocial media sites. Break the habit(s) that are causing them to fall into peer pressure at school and in their neighborhood. Establish youth mentoring groups or leadership programs. Teach them how to respect themselves and others. Teach the youth to never quit or give up. Showing sensitivity and caring. On the job training to perfect professional excellence. Have satellite offices throughout Polk County to aid individuals experiencing financial suffering. Example: Food Banks, Donation Centers and more. Volunteer work programs of where the youth could help change lives by assisting thosein need. Work closely with Polk Works job placement programs and employee training services. Work closely with other outreach groups, corporations, charities and the government. Open social development center not just in Winter Haven but throughout Central Florida.
